Ivy Residence

Our clients asked Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects to design an Arts and Crafts style home that capitalized on their site’s mountain views.  The residence’s clean lines, natural materials and muted color palette are suggestive of the Mission style.  Well-crafted details, such as square tapered columns supported by stone bases, wide eaves and exposed rafters, further reveal its Arts and Crafts roots.  Porches and sweeping flagstone terraces open the house to lovely Blue Ridge vistas.
