"Before"

    Kinloch

In contrast to Kinloch’s beautiful gardens, mature trees and pastoral views, the existing house was dark and inward looking with low ceilings and very few windows.  Our clients wanted it transformed into a bright, comfortable and inviting home.  Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects reconfigured interior and exterior spaces, opened the house to the landscape at every opportunity and added detailing where appropriate to minimize the low ceiling heights.  The project also encompassed infrastructure improvements, including a new road, guest house, stable, accessory buildings and a pond.
