Mustique Villas

Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects has renovated several luxury rental villas on the island of Mustique, two of which are shown here.

The owners of the Balinese-style house engaged us to add a dining gazebo, new primary bath, and deck that wraps around and extends beyond the vanishing-edge pool to expand the views. We also updated guest baths, kitchen areas, staff houses, and finishes in the great room.

On a nearby property the main house and guest cottages, set within a grove of palm trees, enjoy sweeping Caribbean views.

Here we upgraded existing staff houses and added a beach pool with bookend pentagonal gazebos, a three bedroom bamboo guest cottage, primary bathroom, and a new house for staff.
