Our clients asked that Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects develop an interior design for their new French Country home that would be sympathetic to its classical detailing, but layered with modern elements.

They requested each room have unique fixtures, finishes and flavor, and that all rooms blend together as a whole.

Throughout the house, custom design details, such as stair railings, light fixtures, stone mantels, and vanities, showcase our attention to craft.

The interior palette includes many contemporary materials, such as glass and stainless steel tile, detailed to create a timeless, yet fresh, composition.

The expansive views and natural light were considered carefully in the specification of interior finishes and furnishings in order to enhance the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
