James joined DGP Architects in 2024 bringing with him six years of experience and a diverse portfolio. His accomplishments span a wide range of higher educational facilities from performing arts, athletics, technical training, educational spaces, and student living and dining. His experience working on a variety of large-scale building types equips him with the knowledge to effectively tackle complex design challenges.
James’s decision to pursue a master’s degree in architecture at Virginia Tech followed eight years of hands-on experience in the construction industry across various states, including Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Idaho, and Hawaii. This practical experience has given him a deep understanding of regional construction techniques and materials, enriching his approach to design.
Beyond his professional endeavors, James finds joy in woodworking and gardening reflecting his appreciation for craftsmanship and nature. His dedication to his work, coupled with his commitment to personal growth and community, make him an asset to any architectural team.
