Danielle Granger  AIA  NCARB

Project Architect

Danielle graduated from Goucher College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Society, a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, and a concentration in Danish Hedonistic Sustainability.  In 2020 she earned a Master of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.  After graduation, she worked at Thompson and Litton, coordinating closely with engineers and surveyors to design academic and institutional buildings.  Since joining Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects in 2021, she has contributed to a variety of residential projects in the Charlottesville vicinity, ranging from interior and exterior renovations to pool pavilions and even an upscale goat barn.  In all aspects of her work at DGP, she finds the in-depth collaboration between owners, designers, and craftspeople vital for both creativity and craft.

Danielle is currently studying for the national architecture licensure exams and is involved with AIA Central Virginia’s Emerging Professionals group.  Beyond the office, she seeks inspiration from the arts of boatbuilding and furniture design.
